Virtual Schoolroom

Our schoolroom for virtual learning is almost done! This was originally our dining room, but truth be known, we only ate in here three times since we moved in. The first day of Virtual Academy through our local public school, Plano Elementary, will start on Monday, August 24th. Here's hoping we're ready!

Library Day

Library Day has come and gone, and praise the Lord... it was a success! Although it looked like we would have rain, no drops fell until after the event was officially over. We also had many families in the neighborhood stop by, and children of all ages were able to take home several books to enjoy.

Our Library Day caught the attention of the Little Free Library community, and a blog post was made about it... which is such an incredible honor! Check out that post HERE. Also, it made the Little Free Library's August 2020 Newsletter! You can check out that issue right HERE.

Getting Ready for Library Day

We're getting ready for Library Day, an event that will take place this Sunday, August 9th, in our little neighborhood of Plano Estates. At this event, there will be lots of books available for all ages, especially school-age children.

We're hoping this event will be a fun way to welcome our neighborhood kids back to school. Even though there are many uncertainties right now, we want our community of children to stay excited about reading and learning. Children will be able to pick out several books to keep and enjoy. We're so excited for this event and hope every family in the neighborhood can attend!
