Brian and I have always loved to travel. We try to to take weekend trips as often as we can just to get away from the daily grind. However, it's been over four years since we were able to get away for a week long adventure, and we have been itching this whole time for the chance.

So we were beyond excited to have just booked a trip to Myrtle Beach! We are headed down in November for our first out-of-state vacation as a family of three!

I believe the best part of this trip will be watching Porter experience all the new surroundings. I can't wait to watch him play in the sand and see something as amazing as the ocean for the first time.

Jumperoo Jumping

Ever since Porter was born, he has been on the small side. His percentiles have always been 30th for weight, 50th for height, and 75th for head circumference (the kid has always had a big head!).

However, at today's well-visit with Dr. Post, one of these numbers changed considerably. Weight and head circumference stayed the same, but his height jumped up to the 85th percentile!

No wonder he suddenly can't fit into any of his 3-6 month clothes!

I can't believe how much Porter has grown over the last few weeks. Most of his 3-6 month baby clothes no longer fit! We had to move to the 6-9 month drawer of clothes!

Although it's hard watching him grow up so quickly, I do enjoy having new outfits to put him in.

I love the picture below. Although Porter looks like his daddy, he acts like his momma! When we want your attention, we are going to get it!

This was kind of a rough week for me. There's so much to do at work, and not enough time in the day to get it all done.

Although I will be in the office this weekend, I am so thankful for my job. I do love what I do, even if it kicks my tush at times.

Rough Week

Here's Mr. Porter being a little rascal during tummy time. He is rolling over like a champ these days! He can roll from his back to his belly, or his belly to his back (which he enjoys the most).

Although we have tummy time everyday, this is not Porter's favorite activity. He can get annoyed with the whole process fairly quickly!

Recently, Brian's sister allowed us to borrow a Jumperoo. Porter absolutely adores playing in it!

These are the only clear pictures I have of Porter playing inside of this fun contraption. Usually, all you can see is a blur of red hair and flapping arms!

In fact, Porter has so much fun in the Jumperoo, that he wears himself out! Here he is taking a quick nap so he can start the fun all over again!
